Historical resources
At the turn of the century LightLab published a number of guides in the Lab Note series. Those guides have been refreshed and now form a historical snapshot of the state of lighting. At that time solid state lighting was just a twinkle in the eye of the lighting industry. Fluorescent lighting was king; opal diffusers, ULB troffers were in vogue and offices were changing from being dominated by the written word to a combination that included screen based tasks. Much effort was being invested in the consideration of a healthy workplace free from glare.
