Laboratory Services
LightLab operates the longest serving independent laboratory in Australia. We provide photometric and colorimetric testing & calibration services to the lighting industry. We are accredited to ISO17025 by NATA (National Association of Testing Laboratories) and recognised internationally through ILAC.
Our laboratory performs tests in accordance with industry accepted standards, including many of the test methods published by the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) & Underwriters Laboratories (UL). Test & measurement services
LightLab is committed to assisting clients and manufacturers maximize their return on investment by providing technical support and quick turn-around. We offer a diverse range of testing services for lighting sources, including the capability of accurately testing samples to 1.8 metres in length. Our core photometric testing service for commercial luminaires is to the IES LM-79 standard for Solid-State Lighting Products (SSL). In addition we offer In-situ Temperature Measurement testing and testing of emergency luminaires to AS2293 for Australia & New Zealand compliance.
